Hi Kate, love your substack - so interesting and inspiring. I have a question, if that's ok, when you had query requests from pitching competitions did you send them your chapters immediately, or did you wait and include them when you felt ready and queried everyone? Thanks!

Also started querying my 4th book the same time as you. Very different experience for me stats wise, but I also broke through doubt to do 1 last revision that I started querying at the start of May. Got another quick full request, but not bridged that gap yet to an offer. Do worry that my chances lessen the longer it takes, but I can't control that
